YTV Visits Northwest

Congratulations to Jack Nielsen (Northwest novice) who wrote a short essay on what it was like to be a goalie in Lacrosse and entered it in the YTV 'Earn Your Stripes' contest. His entry was picked and on April 26th Julian and the YTV crew came to Halifax to film (see video clip).

Back in January Jack Nielsen (Northwest novice) wrote a short essay on what it was like to be a goalie in Lacrosse and entered it in the YTV 'Earn Your Stripes' contest. The winner of the contest would receive a 60 second clip on YTV featuring their sport plus $500 to go towards sporting equipment. His entry was picked and on April 26th Julian and the YTV crew came to Halifax to film a clip highlighting the Northwest Rebels. Those involved included Alexander Campbell, Oliver Dickson, Ben Van Amburg, Patrick White, Jake Vincent, Josh Roberts and Noah Wade. They interviewed Jack on being a lacrosse goalie and then filmed the boys doing drills. The clip is scheduled to air the week of May 19th on YTV and will be posted to the YTV website at www.ytv.com.
