Northwest Bottle Drive

Folks,

Here's your chance to contribute to the NW Rebels Lacrosse
Association by simply having a few pop's, and collecting them and turning them into Tanner's Recycling Depot, 6393 Bayne (off Lady
Hammond).

Tanner's will be accepting

all refundables from the Northwest Rebels on Saturday, May 29th. Recyclables are to be delivered to the back of the depot in the small parking area there. If any doubt, tell them your with the Rebels Lacrosse group and they will direct you as to where to go. Ideally, the bottles would be collected Saturday morning and delivered before noon or early afternoon and you're done. I understand some may have games in the morning so bottle collection could be done after games, if necessary.

Team representatives will have collection notices for each player that can be delivered to neighbours and or relatives if you think you need help reaching your quota.

We have over 100 NW members and if each person can collect at least $10 worth of recyclables that's $1,000 minimum. It is note worthy to realize that the North West executive has applied for and received grants for approximately $1000 both last year and again this year.
These grants are based on us matching that amount of money. Last year the money was used for goalie gear, this year it's earmarked for coach's accessories. Lets enable that grant money to be utilized and if possible have extra money to put towards upgrading our uniforms especially for Junior and Midget levels. As you probably know, most of your registration money goes to floor time.

So in closing, lets have everyone participate, collect at least $10 worth and hopefully a little more, without spending hours of your time on it. If you can't or don't wish to participate, a donation to the Club would be appreciated. This can be done through your team rep.
