President's Message

Welcome to another Lacrosse season!

The year 2010 is a big one for lacrosse and our focus is again, on growing our national summer sport. Canada defends its title at the FIL World Lacrosse Championship in Manchester, England in July, and, closer to home, we celebrate the return of Colin Doyle and televised Toronto Rock games on TSN2.

We start our North West Lacrosse season with pre-season sessions at Rockingham Gym every Tuesday and Thursday night (see Schedule for times and age levels ).

On February 4th, we will host the "Try Lacrosse" program at Rockingham Gym - a great chance for new players to the sport (boys and girls aged 6-12 years) to try the game for free. If you have children, friends, cousins, nieces or nephews that might be interested in this fantastic game, have them register at www.trylacrosse.ca.

We hope to open NW registration by February 1st, with various options - online, in person, mail in - available to you. Stay tuned for more details and enjoy a great season in 2010!
